History of establishment
1996: On June 16, 1996, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu founded Trung Nguyen in Buon Ma Thuot, the coffee capital of Vietnam. Starting with a small capital of a rickety bicycle, Mr. Vu carried the belief and aspiration to build a famous coffee brand, bringing the flavor of Vietnamese coffee to the world.
1998: The first Trung Nguyen coffee shop opened in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the beginning of the development of the Trung Nguyen coffee chain across the country.
2001: Trung Nguyen achieved its first international success when it successfully franchised in Japan and Singapore. Also, this year, the slogan “Inspiring Creativity” was officially announced.
2003: The G7 instant coffee product was born, marking an important turning point in the development history of Trung Nguyen, quickly becoming one of the most popular instant coffee products in Vietnam.
In the following years, Trung Nguyen continuously expanded its domestic and international markets, exporting products to more than 60 countries and territories. The brand also diversifies its products with many lines of roasted coffee, coffee capsules, and related products.
Recently, Trung Nguyen Legend continues to affirm its position by launching unique “Trung Nguyen Legend Coffee World” spaces, the World Coffee Museum in Buon Ma Thuot, and unique cultural and artistic activities, conveying the philosophy of “Coffee religion” and “Mindful lifestyle”.
